Cross Country 2009

Summer practices begin July 6th at 7:00 a.m. Meet on the South end of the track. Tentative schedule has been posted. Any questions contact Coach Wales at jeff.wales@nebo.edu.
We would like to say goodbye to Coach Kristy Orton, and thank her for the three years she has given to our program. She will be missed!
We would like to welcome our new Girl's Cross Country coaches - Anna Finlayson and Heather Penrod. We know that they will be a great addition to SHS Cross Country.

State Championships -
Natalie Young 1st 200m and 400m (school record), 5th 100m. Lexi Eaton 2nd high jump. Lindsay Bailey 4th 200m and 6th 100m. Sarah Duncan 4th 300m hurdles and 7th 100m. Girl's 4x100 2nd (school record), Medley Relay 3rd and 4x400 4th. Gary Hatch 2nd 1600m. Stephen Jones 4th 200m. Joseph Christensen 6th 3200m (soph. school record). Jesse Lewis and Kim Lifferth 4A Academic All-State.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joseph Christensen takes sixth in the 3200m with a new sophomore record of 9:46.62.
